Coffee Shop Branding Project
Daily Grind is a faux branding project that explores a young, simplistic coffee shop identity designed to feel welcoming to people of all ages. The brand is aimed at everyone from dedicated coffee lovers to hard workers in need of their morning fuel on the way to work. The overall vibe is warm, approachable, and familiar, reflecting the comfort and routine that good coffee brings to everyday life.
The visual identity combines a soft script typeface with a bold, heavy typeface to balance feeling and function. The script typeface conveys the smooth, comforting experience of a good cup of coffee, while the bold type reflects the energetic kick of caffeine. A neutral colour palette was used throughout the logo, branding, and packaging to keep the brand recognisable yet mellow, creating a calm and cohesive aesthetic that feels modern, soft, and inviting.
